Parker Bohn to Receive BPAA Service Award

Parker Bohn III, Brunswick Pro Staff Member and PBA Hall of Fame Bowler, will receive the 2011 Dick Weber Bowling Ambassador Award. This award is named in memory of hall of fame professional bowler Dick Weber, bowling’s global ambassador, who spent a lifetime setting the standard for all bowling athletes by elevating the positive image of bowling and promoting the game and sport of bowling to all ages both on and off the lanes. The award is given to a bowling athlete, male or female, who has consistently shown grace on and off the bowling lanes by promoting the game and sport of bowling in a positive manner.

Bohn will receive his award from the BPAA during International Bowl Expo on June 27 in Grapevine, Tex. The BPAA

Past winners include fellow Brunswick staffers and PBA Hall of Famers, Johnny Petraglia and Carmen Salvino, who received the awards in 2010 and 2008, respectively.
