Chris Loschetter Wins Kuwait Open

Brunswick Pro Staff Bowler and Professional Bowlers Association member, Chris Loschetter, of Avon, Ohio, recently won the eighth Kuwait International Open, taking home the top prize fund of $25,000. The tournament, organized by the Kuwait Bowling Federation, was held in Kuwait City, Kuwait.

The Kuwait International Open marked the fifth tournament of the year for the newly organized World Bowling Tour (WBT). The next WBT tournament will be held in Bangkok, Thailand, in September.

Chris Loschetter Loschetter used the C•(System) alpha-max, Anaconda, and C•(System) 2.5 performance balls by Brunswick to help lead him to victory. He defeated Tore Torgerson of Norway, 255 – 186, in the final match.

“I was able to play the right part of the lane all week, which gave me an advantage throughout the tournament,“ said Loschetter.

“I am very excited to win one of the seven World Bowling Tour events. Brunswick has given me the opportunity to bowl not only on the PBA Tour, but also worldwide. Without the help of the best company in the bowling business, this wouldn’t be possible. Brunswick made me feel like a beast in the Middle East!”

According to fellow Brunswick staffer and PBA bowler, Sean Rash, “Chris has bowled amazing all week long. Bowling together in qualifying definitely helped us both get into the top six with some much needed byes. This is a great step for Chris and his future in our sport and part of the Brunswick team. Ronnie (Russell) and I couldn’t be prouder of him, after how hard he has worked this year on tour.”

Sean Rash finished in sixth place and Ronnie Russell, also a Brunswick Pro Staffer, finished 17th.
