Brunswick Signs PBA Pro Ryan Ciminelli

Brunswick Bowling announced today that Ryan Ciminelli is the newest professional bowler to join its Pro Staff.

Ciminelli, who joined the Professional Bowlers Association (PBA) in 2007, won his first PBA Pro Tour title in the 2011 One A Day Earl Anthony Memorial. He also finished third in the GEICO Mark Roth Plastic Ball Championship. Ciminelli has five PBA Regional titles to his credit.

Ryan Ciminelli Ciminelli, of Cheektowaga, N.Y., stood out during the 2009-2010 PBA Tour season, where he bowled in 17 tour events, cashed in nine, made match play six times and advanced to the championship round four times. Ciminelli finished third in the 2009 PBA Regional Players Invitational to earn his first PBA Tour exemption for 2010-2011.

“I’m very excited to be a part of this team,” said Ciminelli. “I am looking forward to working with everyone, including longtime friends and those who I’ve looked up to throughout my young bowling career. This is a dream come true. My lifelong dream was to be on tour making shows and being a part of a great team and make a living doing so. This feels like just the beginning for me and I couldn’t have the support of a better company. I’d like to thank everyone at Brunswick, my new teammates!”

“We are proud to add Ryan to the Brunswick Pro Staff,” said Brian Graham, Brunswick’s Director of Marketing for Consumer Products. “Ryan is an amazing talent and fierce competitor on the lanes. His powerful style is fun to watch, and we believe that he is a future superstar on the PBA Tour.”

Ciminelli joins Brunswick Pro Staff members Parker Bohn III, Chris Loschetter, Sean Rash, Ronnie Russell, and Tom Smallwood.
