Brunswick Signs Jonathan Van Hees to Pro Staff
Van Hees, who joined the Professional Bowlers Association (PBA) in 2003, has two PBA Regional titles to his credit. He was inducted into the Rhode Island State Hall of Fame in 2012 and was drafted in the 1st PBA League.
Van Hees, a powerful right-hander, from Charlestown, Rhode Island, is the son of retired professional bowler, Kelly Van Hees, who he credits for giving him his start on the lanes. Off the lanes, he enjoys spending time with his two kids, Jasmine and Jackson, and playing amateur baseball in the summer.
“Joining Team Brunswick is an incredible honor,” said Van Hees. “Competition on the lanes at this level can be a lonely place. To have Team Brunswick out there with me makes that journey a whole lot easier and a lot more fun.”
“I have known Jonathan for several years and I have always been impressed with how he handles himself on and off the lanes,” said Brian Graham, Brunswick’s director of sales and marketing for consumer products. “Jonathan has made some significant improvements to his game, and we look forward to seeing him compete on the PBA Tour as a member of the Brunswick Pro Staff.”
Van Hees joins Brunswick Pro Staff members Parker Bohn III, Johnny Petraglia, Sean Rash, Tom Smallwood, Jason Sterner, Wayne Webb and Walter Ray Williams Jr.
