Brunswick Hires Parker Bohn III as Product Specialist

Brunswick Bowling today announced that it has hired PBA Hall of Fame bowler Parker Bohn III as a product specialist in its Consumer Products division.

Bohn, who has been on Brunswick’s professional bowling staff for 24 years, has traveled the world as a professional bowler not only competing, but also giving seminars and clinics to bowlers of all skill levels. His new responsibilities will include representing Brunswick at industry events and visiting pro shops and bowling centers throughout the United States and around the world, offering product support and assistance.

Bohn will continue to compete on the PBA Tour as a Brunswick pro bowler and will expand his responsibilities to help Brunswick grow the consumer products business.

“I am very excited to expand my responsibilities with Brunswick and continue to support the industry and sport I love so much,” said Bohn. “I look forward to making new contacts in the industry and sharing my passion for bowling.”

“We are extremely excited about expanding Parker’s responsibilities with Brunswick Consumer Products off the lanes. Adding Parker to our team of product specialists will help us to expand our reach to pro shops and consumers around the world,” said Corey Dykstra, vice president for Brunswick Consumer and Aftermarket Products.

Bohn, who is a left-handed bowler, joined the PBA in 1984 and was inducted into the PBA Hall of Fame in 2000. He recorded his first win in 1987 and his career earnings of more than $2.7 million rank him third all-time. Bohn currently owns 32 career Tour titles, which ranks fifth all-time. A fierce competitor on the lanes and a gentleman off, Bohn has been recognized by his peers four times as the recipient of the Steve Nagy Sportsmanship Award (1990-1993).
